Chief Forecourt

THE CANDIDATE

• This would suit a candidate who is strong and passionate about customer service and management.
• The ability to run a team and delegate tasks when needed.
• Previous experience working in a management or supervisory based role.
• Experience working in the retail industry is required for this role and this does include management of staff.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

As a Chief Forecourt you will be involved in but not limited to:

• To supervise the staff and ensure that goals and quality of work are achieved at all times
• To manage performance and/or behavioural issues should they arise
• To manage the staff roster and all duties pertaining to the handling of cash
• To deal with customers in a friendly, efficient and helpful manner and be the main point of contact for fuel payment
• To ensure all yard sale activities are carried out efficiently including price displays, cash handling, and daily yard reconciliation.
• To carry out general administration duties and tasks. Computer skills are essential.
• To complete the necessary Health and Safety procedures
• To carry out any other additional duties as required ensuring the smooth running of the site

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Management & retail experience
• Min 1 Years ++ Fuel & Retail (Petrol / Service Station / Forecourt and Fuel) Related experience and exposure Big fuel brand experience (adv)
• Any tertiary related qualifications OR In-house Training OR Certificates + Grade 12 (Matric) (adv) to be included with your application
• Computer literacy (MS Office) / ARCH / WINBRANCH systems (or similar) in-house fuel/operations management system exp. (adv)
• Driver’s License (required)
